- The Image of The Height of The Head of Condyle on TMD Suspected Patient Using CBCT in RSGM UNPAD – Wan Nur Atika Binti Rosely – 160110113033 ABSTRACT The height of the head of condyle is actually the measurement of the condylar head in order to see the image between one patient to another. It is something that cannot be seen by our own naked eyes. The height of the head of condyle on TMD suspected patient tend to show varieties height of the condylar head. Therefore, the main objective of this research is to see the height of the head of condyle on TMD suspected patient by using CBCT radiograph. The research method used is simple descriptive research with purposive sampling technique. The samples taken were from the Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology in the RSGM UNPAD in total of 148 CBCT radiographs starting from the year 2011 until 2013. Data then were collected and analyzed in few tables form. The result shows that the there were two categories that have shown the highest percentage of height of the head of condyle on TMD suspected patient in RSGM UNPAD. The categories were divided into types of gender and the groups of age were classified into adolescent, adult and elderly. According to the data collected, the highest percentage for gender is the female with 70.3%. As for the age grouping, the highest percentage was conquered by the adolescent with 50%. In conclusion, this research shows the height of the head of condyle on TMD suspected patient using CBCT taken from Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology in the RSGM UNPAD were found that female and adolescent has the highest percentage in having the image of the height of the head of condyle. Gambaran Ketinggian Kepala Kondilus Pada Pasien Suspek TMD Dengan Menggunakan CBCT di RSGM UNPAD – Wan Nur Atika Binti Rosely – 160110113033 ABSTRAK Ukuran tinggi kepala kondilus, adalah pengukuran tinggi kepala condylar untuk melihat perbedaan antara satu pasien dengan pasien lain. Hal ini tidak dapat dilihat secara visual, karena ketinggian kepala kondilus pada pasien TMD, cenderung menunjukkan ukuran tinggi yang bervariasi. Tujuan utama dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengukur ketinggian kepala kondilus pada pasien TMD menggunakan radiografi CBCT. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan teknik purposive sampling. Sampel diambil dari Departemen Radiologi Oral dan Maksilofasial di Rumah Sakit Gigi Dan Mulut, UNPAD sebanyak 148 radiografi CBCT, mulai dari tahun 2011 hingga 2013. Data kemudian dikumpulkan dan dianalisis dalam bentuk tabel. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa terdapat dua katagori yang menghasilkan persentase tertinggi dalam gambaran ketinggian kepala kondilus pada pasien TMD di RSGM UNPAD. Menurut hasil penelitian, persentase tertinggi untuk jenis kelamin adalah perempuan dengan 70,3%. Adapun pengelompokan usia, persentase tertinggi ditemukan pada remaja dengan 50%. Simpulan penelitian ini menunjukkan ketinggian kepala kondilus pada pasien TMD di Instalasi Radiology Kedokteran Gigi di RSGM UNPAD dengan presentase tertinggi adalah golongan perempuan dan remaja.
