- ABSTRACT Geographically, the research area lies between 107º 28’ 54.49”- 107º 39’ 23.91”East Longitude and 6º 58’ 32.07” - 7º 13’ 52.97” South Latitude. Administratively, Cisangkuy watershed area is located at Bandung Regency, West Java Province. Based on regional physiography (Van Bemmelen, 1949), Cisangkuy watershed stated as Quaternary Volcanic. Quaternary volcanic zone is an area which dominated by quarternary young volcanic that are susceptible to erosion. Morphometry characteristics of Cisangkuy watershed consist of broad, length, and width of watershed, watershed form, circularity ratio, bifurcation ratios, drainage density, drainage patern, 25 m interval hipsometric, and also erosional stadium of Cisangkuy watershed. Most mormphometric characteristics were analyzed using a quantitative approach, others by way of a qualitative description. Flow pattern of the river contained in this Cisangkuy watershed are subdendritic , paralel, subparalel and subradial sentrifugal pattern. From the fourteen studied sub-watershed in the Cisangkuy watershed dominated by sub-watersheds shaped parallel. Bifurcation ratio (Rb) were obtained from 14 sub-watershed from Cisangkuy watershed, Rb dominant values are 2. This means that the Cisangkuy watershed is affected by tectonic. Based on the analysis of river density (Dd) conducted in the Cisangkuy watershed, Dd values obtained were dominant in the middle category with values ranging from 0,25 - 10. Dd values that are categorized as this indicates that the river flow through the rock with medium resistance so that the material is transported in the flow of the river is also medium. Interval 25m hypsometric analysis were performed on 16 sub-watersheds in the Cisangkuy watershed, it can be concluded that the entire sub-watersheds is located in the middle stage erosion. By category HI values ≥ 0.45> 0.35. Hypsometric variable in response to lithology variations in Cisangkuy watershed can be concluded that the older lithology Qmt have a further erosion stage than the lithology of Qtl. It can be connected with the drainage density value where sub – watershed that contains older litology of Qmt has drainage density value higher than sub – watershed that contains younger lithology of Qtl.
