MORFOMETRI SEBAGIAN DAS CISIMEUT DAN DAS CIMINYAK BERKAITAN DENGAN KARAKTERISTIK BATUAN DAERAH LEUWIDAMAR DAN SEKITARNYA, KABUPATEN LEBAK, PROVINSI BANTEN

- Basically, the research is located in the Cisimeut watershed and surrounding area. Administratively, it is lies within Leuwidamar district, Lebak subprovince, Banten – Indonesia. According to Java’s physiographic map by Van Bemmelen (1949), this area can be included as a part of Anticlinorium Bogor Zone. This research is being held as a purpose to observe the respon of into the lithology on the research area. The activity of the research covers the analysis of the geologycal data through Geological Map and Geomorphological Map, remote sensing analysis, statistical test, and morphometry characteristic analysis. The characteristic of morphometry are part of geomorphology that can describe about landscape the research area is divided into five lithological units namely, sandstone units (Tpbp), tuff units (Tptf), andesite volcanic breccia units (Qbva), claystone units (Tmbl) and basalt volcanic breccia units. Drainage watershed morphomethry is indices of geomorphologic aspect used to analyzed the characteristic of lithological variation. Several parameter of drainage watershed morphometry were measured, i.e. linear morphomethry such as river order, length of order segment, cummulative range of river segments (Lu), bifurcation ratio (Rb), and areal morphomethry such as drainage density (Dd and watershed shape). The validation of quantitative value of morphometric parameter was been calculated by statistic method approach, that include normality test, homogenity test and t-test.The data of result analysis and field survey are verified using t-test. The test shows significant difference among both lithology, where “tcalculation > ttable”. It is mean that there were difference between morphomethry parameter of each lithology. The result of the analysis the characteristic morphometry areal (drainage density/Dd) in a units of Tmbl, Tpbp and Tptf, show characteristic of a landscape that is moderate with bird wings and paralel watershed shape, while in Qbva and Qbvb units has rugged landscape characteristic with radial and bird wings watershed shape. From the analysis of the linear characteristic (Rb) morphometry the sum of river bifurcation that is constructed, mostly build in a unit of Tmbl, Tpbp and Tptf and in the other way, Qbva and Qbvb units had smaller value of river bifurcation.Those Rb thing could differentiate two or more of the lithology characters. It is also could shows up the influence of geological structure that develoved on Qbva and Qbvb units area.
