Efaktivitas Ekstrak Daun Mangrove Untuk Mengobati Penyakit Bercak Merah Yang Diakibatkan Bakteri Aeromonas hydrophila Pada Benih Ikan Mas (Cyprinus carpio).Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan konsentrasi ekstrak daun mangrove Avicennia sp. yang efektif untuk pengobatan bercak merah yang diakibatkan bakteri Aeromonas hydrophila sehingga dapat meningkatkan kelangsungan hidup benih ikan mas. Pelaksanaan penelitian dilakukan di Laboratorium Akuakultur dan Laboratorium Bioteknologi, Fakultas Perikanan dan Ilmu Kelautan, Unpad. Penelitian berlangsung pada bulan Juli – Agustus 2012.Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen dengan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) yang terdiri dari 6 perlakuan dan 3 kali ulangan. Keenamperlakuan tersebut adalah : A : tanpa pemberian ekstrak daun mangrove (Avicennia sp) (0 ppm) sebagai kontrol, B : pemberian ekstrak daun mangrove (Avicennia sp.) 5000 ppm, C : pemberian ekstrak daun mangrove (Avicennia sp.)7500 ppm, D : pemberian ekstrak daun mangrove (Avicennia sp.) 10000 ppm, E : pemberian ekstrak daun mangrove (Avicennia sp.) 12500 ppm, dan F : pemberian ekstrak daun mangrove (Avicennia sp.) 15000 ppm. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian ekstrak daun mangrove (Avicennia sp) sebesar 5000 ppm menghasilkan kelangsungan hidup benih ikan mas yang terserang bakteri Aeromonas hydrophila tertinggi sebesar 93,33% dan hubungan pengaruh ekstrak daun mangrove terhadap kelangsungan hidup ikan mas yang terinfeksi bakteri Aeromonas hydrophila sebesar 93,47%.Kata kunci : Bakteri Aeromonas hydrophila, Benih Ikan Mas (Cyprinus carpio), Ekstrak Daun Mangrove.iiiABSTRACTRuddy Perwiranegara (Supervised By: Ike Rustikawati and Rosidah). 2013. THE EFFECTIVENESS OF MANGROVE LEAF EXTRACT TO TREAT DISEASES CAUSED RED PATCHES Aeromonas hydrophila BACTERIA AT COMMON CARP (Cyprinus carpio)The research was to obtain an effective concentration of mangrove (Avicennia sp.) leaf extract for the treatment of red spots caused by Aeromonas hydrophila to improve the survival of common carp. This research was conducted at the Laboratory of Aquaculture and Biotechnology Laboratory, Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Science, Padjadjaran University. The study took place in July-August 2012. Method used in this research was experiments with Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consist of 6 treatments and 3 replications. The sixtreatment were A: control treatment without leaf extract mangroves (Avicenniasp.) (0 ppm), (B) extract leaves mangrove (Avicennia sp.) solution with the concentration of 5000 ppm, (C) 7500 ppm, (D) 10000 ppm, (E) 12500 ppm, and (F) 15000 ppm. The results showed that the leaf extract of mangrove (Avicenniasp.) had a significant influence on survival carp fish. Concentration of leaf extracts of mangrove (Avicennia sp) at 5000 ppm produce the highest survival rate of fish infected with Aeromonas hydrophila as much as 93.33% and correlatiaon effect of mangrove leaf extract on survival of crap infected with the bacteria Aeromonas hydrophila was 93.47%.Keywords : Bacteria Aeromonas hydrophila, Common Carp (Cyprinus carpio), Leaf Extract Mangrove.
