  • ABSTRACTThis thesis result of research by the author is about service quality of Local HealthAssurance (Jamkesda) in Depok. This research based on authorâ€TMs interest to theimplementation of Jamkesda service which done by Technical Implementing Service Unit(UPT) of Jamkesda of Department of Health of Depok, which proposed to increase the poorcitizenâ€TMs accessibility of Depok towards the health services. Because day by day, the healthservices become more expensive, meanwhile the poor citizenâ€TMs capability is still lack onaccessing the health services. So that the author do a research about the quality of Jamkesdaservice in Technical Implementing Service Unit (UPT) of Jamkesda of Department of Healthof Depok.Aim of this research is to know how far the quality of Jamkesda service in TechnicalImplementing Service Unit (UPT) of Jamkesda of Department of Health of Depok. Thisresearch based on Boedionoâ€TMs theory, who said that the pattern of general service aresimplicity, clarity, certainty, security, transparancy, efficiency, economic, equity, and servicetime limit.The research method is Analysis Descriptive Method with a qualitative approached.The data was collected by study of literature and study of field which consists by nonparticipantobservation, participant observation, and interview. The technique that is used todetermine the informants is purposive sampling.The result of this research can be concluded that generally the quality of Jamkesdaservice in Technical Implementing Service Unit (UPT) of Jamkesda of Department of Healthof Depok can be considered quiet good, although there are several things which not optimalyet, such as the clarity of service requirements, the security of environment and the archivesof service, completeness of facilities, efficiency, and equity. From the researchâ€TMs result, thereare several advices for Technical Implementing Service Unit (UPT) of Jamkesda. First, theyshould provide a critic box as a facility to collect the citizenâ€TMs complaints. The second isimprove the communication with hospitals. And the last, Depokâ€TMs government should givemore attention to UPTâ€TMs facilities, especially to the number of employee in UPT Jamkesda toafford a good quality of Jamkesda service.
