Daftar Isi:
- This article delves into questioning the gendered division of work at home and in the labor market as well as the non-recognition of domestic and care work as a paid economic activity through global and Indian accounts. To deal with the prevailing burden and frustration in shouldering the entire burden of household work and care requires immediate policy attention, which would ensure gender equality, wage parity, and dignity as well as justice to women at home and at the workplace (Mehta and Awasthi, 2019).
