PENGARUH PEMBERIAN EDUKASI TENTANG PENANGANAN AWAL DIARE DI RUMAH TERHADAP PENGETAHUAN IBU DI POSYANDU WILAYAH KERJA PUSKESMAS KENDALSARI KOTA MALANG

  • Angka kejadian diare pada anak masih cukup tinggi. Penanganan awal yang sering dilakukan oleh orang tua memicu terjadianya komplikasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian edukasi tentang penanganan awal diare di rumah terhadap pengetahuan ibu di Posyandu Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Kendalsari Kota Malang. Desain penelitian ini menggunakan One-Group Pra-Post Test, jumlah populasi 47 orang, dan sampel 41 orang, teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan Simple Random Sampling. Pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar kuesioner, data dianalisa menggunakan Marginal Homogeneity. Hasil penelitian didapatkan sebelum pemberian edukasi tentang penanganan awal diare hampir seluruhnya (56%) memiliki pengetahuan cukup, sedangkan sesudah pemberian edukasi hampir seluruhnya (59%) responden memiliki pengetahuan baik, dengan nilai p value = 0,000 (p < 0,05) yang berarti ada pengaruh pemberian edukasi sesudah pemberian edukasi. Pemberian edukasi tentang penanganan awal diare di rumah membantu ibu untuk mengetahui cara pencegahan diare sebelum dibawa ke petugas kesehatan. The number incidence of Diarrhea in the child is still high. The first trearment of parents can trigger the complication. The aim of this research is to know the effect of giving education about the initial treatment of Diarrhea at home towards mother’s knowledge in the workplace’s Posyandu of Kendalsari, Malang City. The design of hhis study used One-Group, Pra-Post Test, the number of population are 47 people, the sampels are 41 people, the technique of taking sampels used Simple Random Sampling. Collecting data used quisioner sheet, the data analysis used Marginal Homogeneity. The result of this study gained before giving education about the initial treatment of Diarrhea are almost all (56%) had sufficient knowledge, while after giving the education almost all (59%) respondents had a good knowledge, with the grade p value 0,000 (p < 0,05) that means there was the effect of giving education about the intial treatment of Diarrhea at home helps mother to recognize the way of Diarrhea prevention before take to the health inspector.
