  • Garment industry as one of the major need of the community will continue to growing, in Indonesia garment industry is industrial rapid development. To prepare Indonesia in facing free trade, one of the solutions is making production scheduling. Problem encountered in the garment industry usually lack the standard time for each element of work, backtrack, bottleneck and yet has a production scheduling. The purpose of this study is to determine the required standard time in production big size trousers and increase production effectively through scheduling so that the output is optimal. Production scheduling is part of the strategic planning and production control, and a plan of arrangement working order as well as resource allocation. At this stage of the production scheduling process is due by FlexSIM simulation. Begins by calculate the standard time with Westinghouse method for each work element, which earned a total time 31.58 minutes for each trousers. Next is making of Precedence Diagram of work element. That Precedence Diagram is simulated by FlexSIM. There are three conditions the first condition, secondcondition, and third condition. After the simulation, there are four variables that appear, which is the completion of work, the cost of production, waiting for the operator, and blocked. Then, the variables weighted according to experts to selected the ideal condition for this industry using Expert Choice, the ideal condition are obtained based on the standard time with a weight value is 0.395. Scheduling is used is based on the standard time condition with an average 1.89 days of work, cost of Rp.841.631.337, waiting operator 44.16%, and 15.51% blocked. By using the condition based on the standard time can increase the effectiveness by 45%. Scheduling in April using these conditions the production process begins on the first day and finished on the 13th. Thus industrial production scheduling using time-based standard conditions with the help of a Gantt chart.
