- PT. AAP is a manufacturing company that uses brass and metal as the main raw material in producing the product. PT. AAP can not ignore the issues related to the effectiveness of the performance of the machine or equipment. The effective use of machine and production equipment can influence the quality of a product, thereforemachine and equipment require the maintenance of using a system of good and proper maintenance so it can minimize the harm caused by the machine and equipment used. The steps in improving the performance or efficiency of production is made by TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) and using OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) as a tool used to measure and determine the performance of machine and equipment. Based on the calculation of OEE, machine performance forgings I, I trimming machines, and machines restrict I still low, therefore the analyse using a causal diagram for the proposed improvement of appropriate and effective.
