- Paro Ba'q is understood as a symbolic action to express respect for the ancestor that occurs at certain times with the main means of food and drink and its implementation is usually led by people who are trusted because of their charisma and experience. Paro Ba'q is not merely a symbolic act of respect for the ancestor, but Paro Ba'q is also an opportunity to express gratitude, a sign of unity, respect and a moment to ask for safety. All the meanings contained in Paro Ba'q are seen as something good and concrete, ideal and recognized and used as a guide for life. Actus Paro Ba'q, is done if there are molan (dukun) and community members. They are called actor in the actus. The actor in Paro Ba'q are those who know well about the custom and habit of feeding the ancestor. Paro Ba'q can be done at any time, if the community need it, for example before opening a new garden, building a new house, recovering from illness, death, a family member who want to travel far, death, family thanksgiving and planting.
