From this research, researcher can draw some important findings as follows- First, the novel Kidnapped presents an interesting story of a brave boy (David) who nearly has no hope and gets what he wants at last. Second, Kidnapped can portray the wild Scottish country¬side and the conflict between king George and Prince Charlie.
