- A Matlab simulation of tomography image reconstruction using back projection method has been carried out. The image obtained were result of tomography based on X ray absorption in the CT-Scan tools. It is a very powerfull tool in the medicine. The acquisition of image raw data were collected from a number projection sample (phantom) in the different angles. In the mathematics, the method was known as Radon transformation. And then, the back-projection method was used to image reconstruction. The results showed that the more projection,the image reconstructed is more resemble of original sample. The all of reconstruction process can be simulated by MATLAB program. Keyword: tomography. image reconstruction, back-projection method
