- The purpose of this article is to find out the meaning of success. The meaning of success is limited only according to the views of students living in the Student Boarding School of KH. Ahmad Dahlan (PERSADA) Yogyakarta. The design of this research is descriptive with a phenomenological qualitative approach. Data was obtained through in-depth interview techniques with 20 PERSADA students, both male and female, face-to-face or by distributing questionnaires. The data obtained is then analyzed and processed to be easily understood. The results show that the meaning of success for students is very diverse, but all can be categorized that success fulfills the usefulness of life, is socially oriented, makes God the foundation for success, and is able to achieve all desires.
