Based on the identification of the problems above, this research is limited to the problem of the Strategic Development of the Yogyakarta Fort Vredeburg Museum. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. The data obtained from comparing the observational data with the results of interviews, observations and documentation. Compare the interview results with the contents of a related document, compare the results of the interview with the contents of the document that has been obtained by researchers both from the Yogyakarta Vredeburg Fortress Museum and some other supporting data. The results of the research show as follows: (1) Internal Development, Strengthening Museum material by conducting studies and research. (2) External Development: Good communication with the public, Collecting facts/data, SWOT Analysis, Measuring the level of visitor satisfaction, Increasing cooperation, Optimizing social media.
