- As a country that has the availability of a bundant natural resources and a large population. Indonesia has sources of state revenue used to finance state expenditure.One of the biggest sources of state revenue is from the tax sector,such as luxury sales tax.The imposition of luxury sales taxi sexpected to reduce the high un productive consumption patterns in society.The purpose of this study is to describe the application of luxury sales tax on smart phones and consumer behavior. This study uses primary data with data sources obtained directly without going through an intermediary.There search data collection technique used a survey method that is a personal questionnaire.Dependent variable in thiss tudyis consumerbehavior.While the independent variable in this study is luxury taxon smartphones. Respondents in this study were Economics Students of the Faculty of Economics and Business Ahmad Dahlan University whoh ad taken 129 taxation practicum courses.The data analysis technique used was as impleregres is analysis. The results showed that the application of luxury goods taxon smartphones had an influence on consumer behavior. KeyWords:Luxury Sales Tax,Consumer Behavior
