- Background: Surgical site infections (SSI) is the most common cause of nosocomial infections with an incidence rate ranging from 14-16% of total hospitalized patient. Therefore, the aimed of this study was to analyze health personal compliance factor and decreasing both cases and cost of SSI. Method: cross sectional design was used in the study. Result: Health personal compliance was 4.89% that decreased SSI case around 64.68%. Conclusion: Health worker was significantly associated with decreasing case and cost of SSI.
