KADAR TOTAL PLASMA DAN GLUKOSA DARAH PADA ITIK MANILA YANG DIBERI PAKAN DENGAN PROTEIN DAN ENERGI METABOLIS YANG BERBEDA

- ABSTRAK Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui kadar total protein plasma dan glukosa darah pada itik manila yang diberikan perlakuan pakan dengan protein dan energi metabolis yang berbeda. Materi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah 100 ekor itik manila jantan, pakan perlakuan, kandang, dan peralatan kandang. Metode penelitian adalah eksperimental menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 5 perlakuan 5 kali ulangan, yaitu R1 : protein 13% + Energi Metabolis 2.300 kcal/kg, R2 : protein 15% + Energi Metabolis 2.500 kcal/kg, R3 : protein 17% + Energi Metabolis 2.700 kcal/kg, R4 : protein 19% + Energi Metabolis 2.900 kcal/kg, R5 : protein 21% + Energi Metabolis 3.100 kcal/kg. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis variansi dan diuji lanjut menggunakan Uji Beda Nyata Jujur (BNJ). Hasil penelitian penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan pemberian pakan protein dan Energi Metabolis berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap total protein plasma (P<0,01) dan berpengaruh terhadap glukosa darah (P<0.05). Hasil uji lanjut menunjukkan bahwa R5 (protein 21% + Energi Metabolis 3.100 kcal/kg )berbeda nyata dengan perlakuan lain, sedangkan hasil glukosa darah adalah R3 (protein 17% + Energi Metabolis 2.700 kcal/kg) berbeda nyata dengan R5 (protein 21% + Energi Metabolis 3.100 kcal/kg). Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah pemberian pakan dengan kandungan protein dan energi metabolis yang meningkat akan meningkatkan kadar total protein plasma dan menurunkan kadar glukosa dalam darah. Kata Kunci : Total Protein Plasma, Glukosa Darah, Protein pakan, Energi Metabolis pakan ABSTRACT The purpose ot this study is to find out the level of total protein plasma and blood glucose of muscovy duck feed by different treatment to determine the exact feed treatment. Material that used are 100 male muscovy ducks, feed treatments, and enclosure equipment. The research method is experimental, the feed treatments are R1: 15% protein and metabolic energy 2.300 kcal/kg metabolic energy, R2: 15% protein and metabolic energy 2.500 kcal/kg, R3: 17% protein and metabolic energy 2.700 kcal/kg, R4: 19% protein and metabolic energy 2.900 kcal/kg, R5: 21% protein and metabolic energy 3.100 kcal/kg. The data was analyzed using Analysis of Variance, with a further test of Honestly Significant Difference. The result showed that the increasing of protein and metabolic energy treatment gave very significant effect on total protein plasma (P<0,01) and gave significant effect on glucose blood (P<0,05). The result of Honestly Significant Different test showed that R5 (21% protein and 3.100 kcal Metabolic energy) was different with all treatment. While the result for blood glucose analysis are R3 (17% protein and metabolic energy 2.700 kcal/kg) different with R5 (21% protein and 3.100 kcal Metabolic energy). The conclusion of the study is treatment with increased protein and metabolic energy content will increase the totall protein in the blood plasma and decreasing blood glucose level of muscovy duck.
