- ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui produksi telur, Hen Day Production (HDP) dan Hen House Production (HHP) berbagai jenis ayam Sentul dan jenis ayam Sentul apa yang memiliki produksi telur paling tinggi. Materi yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah berbagai jenis ayam Sentul yang di pelihara oleh Gabungan Kelompok Tani Ternak Ciung Wanara dengan anggota peternak tersebar di Kecamatan Ciamis. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode survey dan menggunakan General Linear Model. Fixed effect dalam penelitian yaitu lima jenis ayam Sentul (ayam Sentul Abu, Sentul Batu, Sentul Debu, Sentul Geni dan Sentul Emas) dan sebagai ulangan yaitu peternak. Peubah yang dicatat dan diamati adalah produksi telur yang meliputi jumlah telur, HDP dan HHP ayam Sentul. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis variansi. Hasil analisis variansi menunjukan bahwa berbagai jenis ayam Sentul berpengaruh sangat nyata (P<0,01) terhadap produksi telur, HDP and HHP. Analisis kemudian dilanjutkan dengan uji lanjut Beda Nyata Jujur. Hasil analisis uji lanjut Beda Nyata Jujur menunjukan bahwa produksi telur ayam Sentul Abu dan Sentul Batu berbeda sangat nyata dengan ayam Sentul lain. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah berbagai jenis ayam sentul mempengaruhi produksi telur dan ayam sentul yang memiliki produksi telur paling tinggi yaitu ayam sentul batu. ABSTRACT The purpose of this research was to determine the egg production, Hen Day Production (HDP) and Hen House Production (HHP) of various type of Sentul hens, and which of them had the highest egg production. Materials used in this research were various type of Sentul chicken at Ciung Wanara Livestock farmer Groups which members spread in Ciamis District. This research was carried out using survey method and General Linear Model (GLM). Fixed effect number on this research was five kinds of Sentul chickens (Sentul Batu, Sentul Abu, Sentul Debu, Sentul Geni and Sentul Emas), and the farmers as replication. Variables that were recorded and observed were egg production, HDP and HHP of Sentul Chicken. Data were analyzed using analysis of variance. The result of anova showed that various type of Sentul chicken had a highly significant effect (P<0.01) on egg production, HDP and HHP. Based on HSD test showed that egg production of Sentul abu and Sentul Batu had a highly significant than the others. It can be concluded that egg production was affected by the different type of Sentul chicken, and the highest egg productions was obtained by Sentul batu hens.
