- ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan bobot badan pada berbagai jenis dan umur ayam Sentul di Gabungan Kelompok Tani Ternak Ciung Wanara di Ciamis. Materi yang digunakan adalah berbagai jenis ayam Sentul di gabungan kelompok tani ternak Ciung Wanara berjumlah 6 peternak. Sampel diambil umur 2 bulan, 5 bulan dan dewasa. Metode yang digunakan General Linier Model (GLM), sebagai fixed effect lima jenis ayam Sentul (Geni, Abu, Batu, Debu dan Emas) dengan ulangan tidak sama (anequal) yaitu peternak. Rataan bobot badan ayam Sentul (Batu, Abu, Debu, Emas dan Geni) umur 2 bulan jantan adalah 628.06±22.16, 611.74±35.69, 605.38±45.71, 636.61±49.63, dan 618.70±43.85, betina 601.04±32.21, 614.35±26.06, 611.69±57.70, 610.76±61.68, dan 628.71±12.08. Ayam Sentul umur 5 bulan jantan adalah 1768,19±50,82, 1812,03±37,96, 1768,34±44,83, 1779,39±46,63, dan 1777,39±40,62, betina 1287,11±24,47, 1300,55±13,19, 1286,21±36,59, 1284,43±28,85, dan 1287,06±24,21. Ayam Sentul dewasa jantan adalah 2736,23±140,45, 2817,74±106,19, 2751,81±73,49, 2693,11±142,18, dan 2781,86±82,91, betina 1690,06±62,78, 1713,57±125,88, 1745,43±65,44, 1714,09±131,43, dan 1593,55±135,73. Hasil analisis variansi menunjukan bahwa berbagai jenis ayam sentul berpengaruh tidak nyata (P<0.01) terhadap bobot badan ayam Sentul (umur 2 bulan, 5 bulan dan dewasa). Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan bobot badan pada berbagai jenis ayam Sentul umur 2 bulan, 5 bulan dan dewasa jantan dan betina. Kata Kunci : Ayam Sentul, Bobot Badan ABSTRACT The purpose of the experiment was to know the differences body weight of various kinds and ages of Sentul chicken in Ciung Wanara livestock farmer group at Ciamis District, Ciamis Regency. The material that were used wass various kinds of Sentul chicken in Ciung Wanara Livestock Farmer Group at Ciamis District amounted to 6 farmers. Samples taken were 2 months old, 5 months and adults. Male Sentul chicken 5 month old were 1768.19±50.82, 1812.03±37,96, 1768.34±44.83, 1779.39±46.63 and 1777.39±40.62, female were 1287.11±24.47, 1300.55±13.19, 1286.21±36.59, 1284.43±28.85 and 1287.06±24.21. Male Sentul chicken adult were 2736.23±140.45, 2817.74±106.19, 2751.81±73.49, 2693.11±142.18, and 2781.86±82.91, female are 1690.06±62.78, 1713.57±125.88, 1745.43±65.44, 1714.09±131.43 and 1593.55±135.73. The results showed that various kinds Sentul chicken was not significantly (P<0,01) affected body weight of Sentul chicken (2 months old, 5 months and adults). The conclusions of this experiment is body weight of various kinds of Sentul chicken 2 months old, 5 months and adults in male and female is not different. Keywords : Sentul Chicken, Body Weight
