KADAR HDL (HIGH DENSITY LIPOPROTEIN) DAN LDL (LOW DENSITY LIPOPROTEIN) DARAH PADA BERBAGAI ITIK LOKAL BETINA YANG PAKANNYA DISUPLEMENTASI DENGAN PROBIOTIK

  • Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui pengaruh interaksi antara jenis itik dan level probiotik terhadap kadar LDL dan HDL darah itik serta untuk mengetahui pengaruh masing-masing perlakuan terhadap kadar LDL dan HDL darah itik. Materi penelitian menggunakan Itik Mojosari betina 27 ekor, itik Magelang betina 27 ekor dan itik Tegal betina 27 ekor umur 22 minggu. Pakan yang terdiri dari campuran jagung kuning giling 40 %, dedak padi 40 % dan konsentrat itik 20 % dengan kandungan nutrien pakan: PK= 16,56 %, ME = 2.947 kcal/kg, Ca = 1,75 %, P =1,36 % dan probiotik starbio. Kandang sebanyak 27 unit serta peralatan kandang dan timbangan. Metode penelitian adalah eksperimental menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) pola faktorial 3 x 3 dengan 2 faktor. Perlakuan yang diujicobakan yaitu a1b0 : Itik Magelang kontrol, a1b1 : Itik Magelang + probiotik 3 g/kg pakan, a1b2 : Itik Magelang + probiotik 6 g/kg pakan, a2b0 : Itik Tegal kontrol, a2b1 : Itik Tegal + probiotik 3 g/kg pakan, a2b2 : Itik Tegal + probiotik 6 g/kg pakan, a3b0 : Itik Mojosari kontrol, a3b1 : Itik Mojosari + probiotik 3 g/kg pakan, a3b2 : Itik Mojosari + probiotik 6 g/kg pakan. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis variansi dan dilanjutkan uji BNJ (Beda Nyata Jujur). Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa perlakuan berpengaruh sangat nyata pada interaksi jenis itik dan level probiotik (P<0,01) terhadap kadar HDL dan LDL darah itik. Rataan High Density Lipoprotein (HDL) pada jenis itik Magelang berkisar 12,47-27,87 mg/dl; itik Mojosari 23,47-29,33 mg/dl dan itik Tegal 13,20-29,33 mg/dl sedangkan rataan Low Density Lipoprotein (LDL) pada jenis itik Magelang berkisar 116,13-176,80; itik Mojosari 132,86-182,50 dan itik Tegal 142,06-174,00. Hasil uji BNJ menunjukkan bahwa terdapat interaksi antara level probiotik yang diberikan dengan jenis itik. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah itik Magelang mampu memberikan respon yang paling baik terhadap pemberian probiotik sebesar 6 g/kg pakan dengan kadar HDL sebesar 27,87 mg/dl dan kadar LDL sebesar 129,70 mg/dl dibandingkan dengan itik Tegal dan Mojosari. Kata Kunci : Itik, HDL, LDL, Probiotik The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the interaction between the type of duck and the level of probiotics on blood levels of LDL and HDL, and to determine the effect of each treatment on blood levels of LDL and HDL of ducks. The materials of used in this research were 27 Kirkcaldy female ducks, 27 Magelang female ducks and 27 Tegal female ducks of 22 week old. The feed consisted of a mixture of 40% ground yellow corn, 40% rice bran and 20% concentrate of duck with nutrient content of the feed: crude protein = 16,56%, Metabolized Energy = 2.947 kcal/kg, Ca = 1,75%, P = 1,36% dan probiotics starbio. The cage were as many as 27 units and equiped with enclosures and scales. The experimental research design used was Completely Randomized Design (CRD), 3 x 3 factorial with two factors. The treatments were a1b0: Magelang ducks control, a1b1: Magelang ducks + 3 g probiotics /kg of feed, a1b2: Magelang ducks + 6 g probiotics /kg of feed, a2b0: Tegal ducks control, a2b1: Tegal ducks + 3 g probiotics /kg of feed, a2b2: Tegal ducks + 6 g probiotics /kg of feed, a3b0: Mojosari ducks control, a3b1: Mojosari ducks + 3 g probiotics /kg of feed, a3b2: Mojosari ducks + 6 g probiotics /kg of feed. The data were analyzed using analysis of variance and the test continued with HSD (Honestly Significant Difference). The results showed that there was highly a significant between ducks and probiotic levels interactiagainst (P<0.01) on the levels of HDL and LDL in duck blood. The average of High Density Lipoprotein (HDL) in Magelang duck species ranged from 12.47 to 27.87 mg/dl; Mojosari ducks 23.47 to 29.33 mg/dl and Tegal ducks from 13.20 to 29.33 mg/dl, while the average Low Density Lipoprotein (LDL) in Magelang duck species ranged from 116.13 to 176.80 mg/dl; Mojosari ducks 132.86 to 182.50 mg/dl and Tegal ducks 142.06 to 174.00 mg/dl. The HSD test results showed that there was an interaction between the level of probiotics given to the ducks. The conclusion of this study is to provide Magelang duck with probiotic administration of 6 g/kg of feed that resulted in the best response of HDL levels by 27.87 mg/dl and LDL cholesterol by 129.70 mg/dl compared to Tegal ducks and Mojosari ducks.
