  • ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilaksanakan tanggal 20 Juli sampai tanggal 25 Agustus 2012 di Sub Stasiun Percobaan dan Laboratorium Ilmu Nutrisi dan Makanan Ternak, Fakultas Peternakan, Universitas Jenderal Soedirman. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi pengaruh penggunaan pakan fungsional dalam ransum terhadap konsumsi pakan dan pertambahan bobot badan ayam broiler yang di pelihara sampai umur 35 hari. Materi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah ayam broiler umur 1 hari (DOC) unsex strain Multi Breeder 202 Platinum sebanyak 100 ekor. Percobaan dilakukan menggunakan metode eksperimental in vivo dengan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL). Pakan perlakuan terdiri dari 5 macam, setiap perlakuan di ulang 4 kali dan setiap ulangan berisi 5 ekor ayam. Perlakuan terdiri dari R0 = pakan fungsional, 0%, R1 = pakan fungsional 5%, R2 = pakan fungsional 10%, R3 = pakan fungsional 15%, R4 = pakan fungsional 20%. Peubah yang diamati adalah konsumsi pakan dan pertambaan bobot badan. Data yang diperoleh di analisis menggunakan analisis variansi dan dilanjutkan dengan uji orthogonal polynomial. Hasil analisis sidik ragam menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan pakan fungsional berpengaruh tidak nyata (P>0,05) terhadap konsumsi pakan dan berpengaruh sangat nyata (P<0,01) terhadap pertambahan bobot badan. Rataan konsumsi pakan yaitu R0 = 1557,55 ± 152,99 g; R1 = 1682,52 ± 91,51 g; R2 =1579, 01 ± 86,56 g; R3 = 1671, 73 ± 74,51 g; R4 = 1652, 67 ± 93,06 g. Rataan pertambahan bobot badan yaitu R0 = 689,86 ± 51,26 g; R1 = 673,61 ± 55,37 g; R2 = 638,15 ± 94,86 g; R3 = 526,16 ± 78,15 g; R4 = 502,45 ± 50,65 g pada setiap perlakuan. Hasil uji lanjut Orthogonal Polynomial perlakuan menunjukan respon linier dengan persamaan garis Y = 710.49750 - 10.445800 X dengan nilai koefisien determinasi (r2) = 57,72 % yang artinya bahwa 57,72 % perbedaan pertambahan bobot badan ayam broiler (Y) ditentukan oleh variasi level pakan fungsional (X) dan koefisien korelasi (r) = 0,7597, artinya penggunaan pakan fungsional yang terbaik untuk meningkatkan pertambahan bobot badan berada pada level 5 %. Kesimpulan bahwa Penggunaan pakan fungsional yang terdiri dari minyak ikan lemuru, probiotik dan N3 anti allergen sebesar 20% dalam ransum tidak memberikan pengaruh terhadap konsumsi pakan ayam broiler, Sedangkan penggunaan pakan fungsional sebesar 20% mampu menunjukkan pengaruh terhadap pertambahan bobot badan, meskipun terjadi penurunan pertambahan bobot badan ayam broiler. ABTRACT This reseacrh was conducted from July 20th until August 25th 2012 at the Experimental Sub-Station and Laboratory of Animal Nutrition and Feed Science, Faculty of Animal Science, Jenderal Soedirman University. This research was aimed to evaluate the use of functional feed in the ration, it’s effects on feed cunsumtion and body weight gain in broiler until the age of 35 days. The used materials in this research were 1-day-old unsex Multi Platinum 202 strain broiler chickens (DOC) as many as 100 birds. The experiments were performed using in vivo experimental method with completely randomized design (CRD). The feed consisted of 5 treatments, each treatment was repeated 4 times and each replication contained 5 chickens. The treatment consisted of functional feed R0 = 0% of functional feed, R1 = 5% of functional feed, R2 = 10% of functional feed, R3 = 15% of functional feed, R4 = 20% of functional feed. The variables measured were the feed consumtion and body weight gain. The data obtained were analyzed using analysis of variance and followed by orthogonal polynomial test. The results of analysis of variance showed that the use of functional feed highly significantly (P<0.01) affected the body weight gain and did not significantly (P>0.05) affect the feed consumtion. The mean consumtion were R0 = 1557.55 ± 152.99 g; R1 = 1682.52 ± 91.51 g; R2 =1579. 01 ± 86.56 g; R3 = 1671. 73 ± 74.51 g; R4 = 1652. 67 ± 93.06 g, respectively. The meant of body weight gain were R0 = 689,86 ± 51,26 g; R1 = 673.61 ± 55.37 g; R2 = 638.15 ± 94.86 g; R3 = 526.16 ± 78.15 g; R4 = 502.45 ± 50.65 g. Further test results showed that treatment response of Orthogonal polynomials was linier with the line equation Y = 710.49750 - 10.445800 X with the coefficient of determination (r2) = 57,72 % which meant that 57,72 % of the body weight gain (Y) was determined by variations in the level of functional feed (X) and correlation coefficient (r) = 0,7597 and, which means that the use of functional feed was best for body weight gain at the level of 5 %. The conclusion is that the use of functional feed in the ration up to 20% did not affect feed consumtion, however it does influence the body weight gain.
