  • ABSTRAK Pupuk organik granul merupakan pupuk organik dengan mengubah bentuk fisik menjadi butiran yang memiliki sifat kering dan keras sehingga tidak cepat rusak ketika dikemas dan cepat terurai ketika berada di dalam tanah. Tujuan penelitian adalah mengetahui pengaruh pemberian level pupuk organik granul dan level pupuk organik granul terbaik ditinjau dari produksi bahan kering, jumlah anakan dan tinggi tanaman rumput gajah pada defoliasi ketiga. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah experimental dengan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL). Adapun perlakuannya adalah ;R0 : Pupuk organik granul dosis 0 ton/ha/defoliasi; R1 : Pupuk organik granul dosis 15 ton/ha/defoliasi; R2: Pupuk organik granul dosis 30 ton/ha/defoliasi; R3: Pupuk organik granul dosis 45 ton/ha/defoliasi; R4: Pupuk organik granul dosis 60 ton/ha/defoliasi; R5: Pupuk organik granul dosis 75 ton/ha/defoliasi;. Hasil analisis variansi menunjukan bahwa perlakuan berpengaruh sangat nyata (P<0,01) terhadap produksi bahan kering dan tinggi tanaman rumput gajah dan berpengaruh nyata (P <0,05) terhadap jumlah anakan. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan pola linier untuk penggunaan pupuk organik granul terhadap produksi bahan kering pada dengan persamaan Y = 0,52801905 + 0,02573238 x dan polalinier untuk tinggi tanaman dengan persamaan Y =92.061905 + 0.8672381 x. Serta pola linier untuk penggunaan pupuk organik granul terhadap jumlah anakan dengan persamaan Y = 8,7142857 + 0,07695238 x.Pemberian pupuk organik granul dengan dosis sampai dengan 75 ton/ha/defoliasi pada defoliasi ketiga dapat meningkatkan produksi bahan kering, tinggi tanaman dan jumlah anakan rumput gajah. Kata kunci :pupuk organik granul, rumput gajah, produksi bahan kering, jumlah anakan, tinggi tanaman. ABSTRACT The granule organic fertilizer is an organic fertilizer changed from physically mashed material into dry and hard granules so it cannot be damaged when it is packaged,it broakes down easilywhen it is put in the soil. The purpose of this research was to find out the effect of granule organic level and the best level of granule organic fertilizer considerated from the production of dry matter, the amount of tillers, and the height of Elephant Grass at third defoliation. The methods of this research was experimental with RAL design. The treatment were ; R0 : Granule organic fertilizer at the rate of 0 ton/ha/defoliation; R1 : Granule organic fertilizer at the rate of 15 ton/ha/defoliation; R2 : Granule organic fertilizer at the rate of 30 ton/ha/defoliation; R3 : Granule organic fertilizer at the rate of 45 ton/ha/defoliation; R4 : Granule organic fertilizer at the rate of 60 ton/ha/defoliation; R5 : Granule organic fertilizer at the rate of 75 ton/ha/defoliation; each of the treatment was replicated 4 times. The variables measured were the production of dry matter, the amount of tillers, and the height at third defoliation. The analysis results showed that the treatments influenced very significantly on the production of dry matter and the height of the elephant grass (P<0,01) and also significanton the amount of tillers(P <0.05). It was showed by a linear pattern for the use of granule organic fertilizer on the production of dry matter with an equation Y = 0.52801905 + 0.02573238 x and a linear pattern for the height of the plant with an equation Y = 92.061905 + 0.8672381 x. Also, there was a linear pattern for the use of granule organic fertilizer on the amount of tiller with an equation Y = 8.7142857 + 0.07695238 x. The provision of granule organic fertilizer at the rate of 75 ton/ha/defoliasi at third defoliation canhigher the production of dry matter, the amount of tillers and the height of Elephant Grass.
