- Mathematics is one of the lessons given at each level of education and has a role in many lives. It required an efficient manner and effective to understand the concepts of mathematics. Understanding of the basic concepts are the foundation for learning mathematics. Understanding the concept is part of the cognitive abilities that can be obtained by using some strategies or models of learning. One of them is the SQ3R learning model that has 5 steps that survey, question, read, Recite, and reviews. The use of SQ3R learning model in the study of mathematics can be used to understand the teaching material, namely finding concepts that exist in a given subject or determining the right concept in solving the problem.
