- The aim of this research is to find out how Start Simple Stories (SSS) Methodcan improve students’ reading comprehension at the class XI MIPA D in SMA Negeri 1 Ngabang.This researchemployed Classroom Action Research (CAR) as the research design. Then, the subject of this research was the students at the class XI MIPA D in SMA Negeri 1 Ngabang consist of 38 students. The data collected was got from observation and measurementtechnique. Tool of the data collection were observation checklist, field note and objective test. The data would be analyzed by qualitative and quantitative analysis. The data was reported in words was analyzed by qualitative analysis, while the data in numeric form was analyzed by quantitative analysis.
