  • Kailan (Brassica oleraceae L.) is a vegetable that has a high selling price and has a short harvest life so that it can be used as an option for farmers in cultivation. This study aims to determine the dosage of organic fertilizers and EM4 concentration on the growth and yield of kailan (Brassica oleraceae L). This research was conducted from October to November 2019, in the experimental field of the Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Pembangunan Nasional “Veteran” Jawa Timur. This research using a factorial Complete Random Design (RAD) method with 3 replications. The first factor is the dose of organic fertilizer consisting of 7 levels, P0 is 0 grams of organic fertilizer/polybag (equivalent to 0 tons / ha), P1 is 90 grams of organic cow manure/polybag (equivalent to 10 tons / ha), P2 is 135 grams of organic cow manure./polybag (equivalent to 15 tons / ha), P3 is 180 grams of organic cow manure/polybag (equivalent to 20 tons / ha), P4 is 90 grams of organic chicken manure/polybag (equivalent to 10 tons / ha), P5 is 135 grams of organic chicken manure/polybag (equivalent to 15 tons / ha), P6 is 180 grams of organic chicken manure/polybag (equivalent to 20 tons / ha). The second factor is the concentration of EM4 which consists of 3 levels, S0 (0 ml/l), S1 (10 ml/l) and S2 (20 ml/l). The results showed that the dosage of organic fertilizers and the concentration of EM4 showed interactions on plant length, stem diameter, total wet weight, root weight, root length, and plant production weight. The dose of organic chicken manure at a dose of 10 tons/ha and a concentration of EM4 20 ml/l (P4S2) showed the highest stem diameter, total plant wet weight, plant root weight, and plant production weight.
