  • The research is based on the many parents of milenials using Instagram social media to search for parenting information on an Instagram account @parentalk. Id. This research has a purpose to know how the perception of the followers @parentalk. ID against Instagram account parentalk.id as a medium of information parenting. The theory used is a perception theory that can be used to explain how a message is interpreted by an individual. This research uses qualitative research methods with descriptive research types. A descriptive method is used to obtain detailed and in-depth information about the perception of @parentalk. ID against the Instagram account parentalk.id as the media of parenting information. Data collection is done with an in-depth interview to the followers @parentalk. ID and documentation. The results of this study showed that the perception of followers on Instagram account @parentalk. ID is as a referral for new parents in fulfilling the needs of parenting information. And also contribute to the life of the followers from caring for newborn babies, to creating a healthy family for children.
