- Childrens are the future of a nation, this is shown in the attitudes and behavior of their generation. As a country known for its good manners, Indonesia has a good image in other countries. However, at this time courtesy in the next generation has decreased, especially for children. the contributing factor is the lack of courtesy to parents, especially education about speaking in everyday life. Even though as the largest Muslim majority country in Southeast Asia, Indonesians should understand ethics and manners. Based on these problems, this research will focus on the ethics of good words, and the Islamic ideal. The case studies we chose in this study were Pucu'an hamlet, Gebang village, Sidoarjo city, East Java. Our aim was to take a sample from Pucu'an hamlet, because the majority of the people are Muslim but live in poverty. So that the tendency of children to be less familiar with ethics and courtesy in speaking. The data collection method in this research is through direct observation and approach and questionnaire.
