  • In an effort to educate basic education in the field of computers, the government has implemented curriculum subjects in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) at the elementary level, but in reality, some schools still have difficulty regarding adequate facilities. This is due to lack of information regarding basic computer lessons that attract elementary / elementary school students. The importance of computer use was increasingly felt when the threat of a COVID-19 pandemic in which the Minister of Education and Culture issued a circular dated March 24, 2020 that regulates the implementation of education "Learning from Home" during the emergency spreading of corona virus. Had the abolition of ICT subjects when the government implemented the 2013 curriculum (K13) apparently left a new problem where students were not ready to welcome the digital era. Responding to this situation, ICT subjects were re-applied in schools in 2019. Some elementary schools even from PAUD also stated that ICT is indispensable in 21st century education in addition to English subjects. Observations were made by a team of writers using the Human-Centered Design method at a school in Sampora Village, MI Nurul Huda. The writer's team found that ICT lessons cannot run smoothly due to limited facilities and material in the form of computer recognition media.
