- Motivation aspect is one important component in improving the employees’ performance since motivation encourages the employees to best complete their works. Each employee has self-motivation to work better or do the best for their organizations. However, not all employees have positive motivations. They need others to play their roles as superiors in motivating the subordinates that the superiors do not only support as they can but they are expected to find ways or strategies to gain optimum results. Motivation or reinforcement activities given maximally by a superior to his/her subordinates may be considered as an activity to awaken the subordinates’ motivations. This research describes how motivation influences the Mareku sub-district office employees’ achievements which population consists of 8 Mareku sub-district office employees. The research data was collected through field observations, interviews, and questionnaires distributed to the research respondents. To figure out the influence of motivation on the employees’ achievements, it can be seen through 3 dimensions: motif, expectation, and intensity.
