- Lake Laek tourism object is an important location as a regional development for tourism purposes and can provide benefits to the community. However, until now there is no data related to public perception of the existence of these tourism objects. The purpose of the study was to obtain public perception of the existence of the Laet Lake tourist attraction in Subah Village, Tayan Hilir District, Sanggau Regency. Data was collected through a survey method with interview techniques with the help of a questionnaire. Data collection was done by purposive sampling technique. Data analysis used Descriptive Analysis and Inferential Analysis. Public perception of the existence of Lake Laet tourist attraction in Subah Village tends to be neutral, with a frequency value of 60.34% from 58 respondents with moderate levels of knowledge, income, and cosmopolitanism.Keyword: Lake laek. Tourist objects, Community perception, Survey AbstrakObjek wisata danau laek merupakan lokasi penting sebagai sebagai perkembangan daerah untuk tujuan wisata dan dapat memberikan manfaat terhadap masyarakat. Namun sampai saat ini belum ada data terkait persepsi masyarakat terhadap keberadaan obyek wisata tersebut. Tujuan penelitian adalah mendapatkan persepsi masyarakat terhadap keberadaan objek wisata danau laet di Desa Subah Kecamatan Tayan Hilir Kabupaten Sanggau. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui metode survei dengan teknik wawancara dengan bantuan koesioner. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan teknik purposive sampling. Analisis data menggunakan Analisis Deskriptif dan Analisis Inferensial. Persepsi masyarakat terhadap keberadaan objek wisata Danau Laet di Desa Subah cenderung netral yaitu dengan nilai frekuensi sebesar 60,34 % dari 58 responden dengan tingkat pengetahuan, pendapatan, dan kosmopolitan yang sedang.Kata kunci: danau late, obyek wisata, persepsi masyarakat, survei
