- B.IndonesiaDengan adanya modifikasi pengontrol AC split maka air conditioner (AC) akan otomatis mati jika orang lupa mematikan AC saat keluar kamar. Hal ini dapat menghemat listrik yang digunakan dalam ruangan, menjaga kompresor AC tidak mudah rusak dan memiliki masa pakai yang lama. Untuk mencadangkan saat lupa mematikan AC split, penulis membuat modifikasi remote control AC tersebut secara sederhana namun tidak mengurangi fungsi peralatan yang ada. Modifikasi pengontrol split air conditioner (AC) ini menggunakan mikrokontroler sebagai pengontrol, sensor PIR untuk mendeteksi keberadaan seseorang, sensor arus sebagai komunikasi antara mikrokontroler dan air conditioner (AC), dan relay sebagai aktuator. Demikian modifikasi ini semoga bisa digunakan untuk backup ketika terjadi kelalaian saat keluar ruangan tanpa mematikan air conditioner (AC), sehingga dapat mengatasi permasalahan yang ada. B.EnglishWith the modification of the split air conditioner (AC) controller, the air conditioner (AC) will automatically turn off it the person forgets to turn off the AC when leaving the room. This can save the electricity used in the room, keep the compressor of the air conditioner from being easily damaged and have a long lifetime. To back up when forgetting to turn off the split air conditioner (AC), the author makes the modification of the AC remote control simply but does not reducce the function of the existing equipment. The modification of the split air conditioner (AC) controller uses a microcontroller aas a controller, a PIR sensor to detect the presence of a person, a current sensor as a communication between the microcontroller and the air conditioner (AC), and a relay as the actuator. Thus this modification hopefully can be used for backups when there is negligence when leaving the room without turning off the air conditioner (AC), so as to overcome the existing problems.
