- Every end-user of goods and/or services available at community for individual benefit, family, other person and other human kinds has the right to legal protection. Cellular phones user has the right to legal protection from any illegal action conducted by cellular operator. A decision giving beneficial impact to the consumer of cellular-phone is KPPU's decision No. 07/KPPU-L/2007. The benefit is reduction on cellular-phone tariff according to government in this case Department of Communication and Information dated 4 February 2008 concerning policy on tariff of phone service including cellular-phone. A new thing which shall receive appreciation from the KPPU's decision is to place consumer interest as priority in its evaluation over violation of article 27 of Act No.5 year 1999 concerning Antimonopoly and Unfair Competition.
