  • ompetitions Level of retail market demonstrate significant effect for implementation business strategy. The firms are doing business strategy which has the capacity to restraint retail market competition. Retail market divided into two kinds, i.e. traditional retail market and modern retail market. Competition can be happen according with vertical i.e. between modern retailer with traditional retailer and horizontal i.e. between fellow modern retailers. The focus of retail market competition is business strategy by modern retailer to try to win retail market share. KPPLI decrees are showing business strategy to be successful in modern retail market competition through some following methods; first, performing trade expansion and second, determining trading terms that have potential restraint of trade. The assessment is through analysis KPPU decrees about Indomaret and Carrefour, that both of them are included as modern retailer.
