- CV. Jaya Furniture is a manufacturing company engaged in furniture or furniture with several products it produces. In its production system, the company applies the concept of being made when there is an order, where each product will be produced if there is demand from consumers. The research was carried out on the production of work tables. When carrying out the production process, the company experiences problems in meeting consumer demand because consumer demand has increased. Therefore, to solve the problem is done by using the TOC (theory of constraints) method. The first obstacle that occurs is the bottleneck and the second is the delay in completing the product. This is because the company has not determined the available production capacity. The research was conducted to calculate the available capacity and provide solutions to the bottleneck problems that occur. Based on the calculation results, the available capacity is much higher than the required capacity. The capacity owned by the company is 45141.84 minutes / month. And the solution given to the problem of bottleneck at the HPL workstation is by doing overtime, which was originally a production capacity of 2 product units to 8 product units and an assembly work station after adding work shifts, which previously had 2 product units increased to 7 product units.
