- This study is a research deconstructive clis course on the applica tion of islamic law in Brunei Darussalam in the media in Indonesi an. By taking three main media in Indonesia, Namely kompas, rep ublika and jawa pos this study in te nds to look at how the discour se was about application of Islamic law in Brunei is represented in the media in the country. The research methods used in this stu dy is a qualitative research method. There are two sources of da ta primary and secondary. Primary data is derived from documen ts reporting the news on the internet about the application of Isla mic law in Brunei from three media above. While the secondary d ata derived from observation and interviews conducted during on site visits i field research is Brunei Darussalam. Mean while, to test the credibility of the data, researches conducted data triangulati on. The results of this research showed that ; Firstly-> the kompas tend to strengthen the representations of rejection by constructi ng a message, composition and choice diction relativelly stronger than the voice that support. Second-> the republika on the contra ry, is not a balance betwe en pro and cions. Instead, the article is dominated by western representations of Islamic law considers cr uel and contrary to human rights. And third-> on Jawa Pos relative ly balanced representation, its the different from the kompas mo re pro towards the refuse, the representation of Jawa Pos was mo re pro on that supports.
