PENERAPAN STRATEGI AROUND THE WORLD UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN KERJASAMA SISWA KELAS V SEKOLAH DASAR PADA MATA PELAJARAN IPS

- Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan kerjasama siswa kelas V Sekolah Dasar pada pembelajaran IPS. Salah satu penyebabnya adalah penerapan pembelajaran berkelompok yang bersifat konvensional. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan penerapan strategi around the world untuk meningkatkan kemampuan kerjasama siswa kelas V sekolah dasar pada mata pelajaran IPS. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) model Kemmis dan Mc. Taggart. Penelitian dilaksanakan di SD Negeri yang berada di Kecamatan Sarijadi, Kota Bandung. Subjek yang diteliti adalah 18 orang siswa kelas V. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi. Data pembelajaran dianalisis menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman. Data kemampuan kerjasama siswa dianalisis dengan menggunakan statistik deskriptif persentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan strategi around the world dapat meningkatkan kemampuan kerjasama siswa kelas V sekolah dasar pada mata pelajaran IPS.-- This research is motivated by students teamwork skill in grade V in Elementary School on Social Science subject whic is low. One of the reason is the implementation conventional learning groups. The aim of this study is to descriptioning the implementation of around the world strategy to improve the student teamwork skill in grade V in elementary school on social science subject. The research method used was clasroom action research with Kemmis and Mc. Taggart model. The research was carried out at one of the elementary school which is in Sarijadi Sub District, Bandung City. The participants in the study were 18 students in grade V. The collection data technique used was observation. Learning data were analyzed by Miles and Huberman model. Teamwork skill data were analyzed by percentage descriptive statistics. The research results showed that the implementation of around the world strategy can improve the students teamwork skill in grade V in elementary school on social science subject.
