  • Distribution transformer is a device that works as a medium voltage converter to a low voltage. PMC (Pasir Muncang) portal type distribution substation has problems due to the distance of the network that connects the distribution substations to the very distant supply lines and also the uneven load distribution system on the secondary side low voltage network. The method used is the method of observation, interview and discussion. This study is intended to determine the loading on the portal type PMC (Pasir Muncang) distribution transformer which is divided into 4 regions by calculating peak load, power losses and voltage drop. Based on the results of the research, loading in department 1 was 0.8%, department 2 was 6.6%, department 4 and department 6 were 17.6%. In the regulation of PLN distribution transformer management, the distribution of distribution transformers is a maximum of 80%. In order for the load on each phase to be evenly distributed, it is necessary to have accuracy in adding loads.
