  • Berdasarkan hasil observasi awal, bahwa kemampuan analisis peserta didik di kelas XI IPS 1 SMA Pasundan 7 Bandung masih tergolong rendah, dari 21 peserta didik hanya 30% yang memiliki kemampuan kognitif C4. Metode pembelajaran yang digunakan sebelumnya yakni ceramah cenderung hanya mengembangkan kemampuan berpikir tingkat rendah (Low Order Thinking). Oleh karena itu diperlukan solusi untuk meningkatkan kemampuan analisis tersebut. Salah satu metode yang dapat digunakan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan analisis adalah metode Think Talk Write (TTW). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk : (1) Menerapkan metode pembelajaran Think Talk Write (TTW), (2) Meningkatkan kemampuan analisis peserta didik, (3) Mengidentifikasi respon peserta didik terhadap kegiatan belajar. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang terdiri dari dua siklus setiap siklus terdiri dari dua tindakan. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI IPS 1 SMA Pasundan 7 Bandung. Objek penelitian ini adalah metode pembelajaran Think Talk Write (TTW) dan kemampuan analisis. Instrumen penelitian ini meliputi lembar observasi, Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKS), tes dan angket. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) Penerapan metode pembelajaran Think Talk Write (TTW) dilaksanakan melalui tiga tahapan yakni berpikir, berbicara dan menulis, (2) Penggunaan metode Think Talk Write (TTW) mampu meningkatkan kemampuan analisis peserta didik pada materi biosfer dan antroposfer dengan nilai rata-rata yang meningkat dari 26,7% pada siklus I menjadi 53,75% pada siklus II dan (3) Peserta didik memberikan respon yang positif dengan menyatakan sangat setuju (90%) terhadap kegiatan pembelajaran dengan menggunakan metode Think Talk Write (TTW) dalam setiap tindakan. Dengan demikian penerapan metode Think Talk Write (TTW) dapat meningkatkan kemampuan analisis peserta didik pada materi biosfer dan antroposfer. ---------- Based on the results of preliminary observations, the analytical capability of students in class XI IPS 1 SMA Pasundan 7 Bandung is still relatively low, there are only 30 percent from 21 students who have cognitive ability C4 (analytical capability). This research used classroom action research that concists of two cycles, each cycle consist of two actions. The subjects were students of class XI IPS 1 SMA Pasundan 7 Bandung. The object of this research is Think Talk Write (TTW) learning method and analytical capability of students. The instrument of this research included the observation sheets, worksheet students, test and questionnaires. The results showed that (1) The application of learning method Think Talk Write (TTW) is carried out through three phases are thinking, talking and writing, (2) using of Think Talk Write (TTW) method is able to increase the analytical capability of students in lesson of biosphere and anthroposphere with the average value increased from 26,7% in the first cycle to 53,75% in the second cycle, and (3) Students give positive response by asserted agreed (90%) of the learning activities using the Think Talk Write (TTW) in every action. Thus the application of the Think Talk Write (TTW) method can incrase the analytical capabilities of students about lesson of biosphere and anthroposphere.
