  • Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah kemampuan koneksi matematis siswa sesudah mendapatkan pembelajaran dengan pendekatan scientific lebih tinggi daripada sebelum mendapatkan pembelajaran dengan pendekatan scientific, mengetahui kualitas peningkatan kemampuan koneksi matematis siswa antara sebelum diberi pembelajaran dan sesudah diberi pembelajaran, mengetahui pengaruh pembelajaran dengan pendekatan scientific terhadap kemampuan koneksi matematis siswa, dan untuk mengetahui sikap siswa terhadap pembelajaran dengan pendekatan scientific. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Pre-Experimental Design dengan rancangan One Group Pre-test Post-test. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa-siswi kelas X di salah satu SMA negeri di kota Bandung dan sampel yang diambil adalah satu kelas X di SMA negeri tersebut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan koneksi matematis siswa sesudah mendapatkan pembelajaran dengan pendekatan scientific lebih tinggi daripada sebelum mendapatkan pembelajaran dengan pendekatan scientific, peningkatan kemampuan koneksi matematis siswa antara sebelum mendapatkan pembelajaran dengan pendekatan scientific dan sesudah mendapatkan pembelajaran dengan pendekatan scientific tergolong sedang, pengaruh pembelajaran dengan pendekatan scientific besar terhadap kemampuan koneksi matematis siswa, dan sikap siswa terhadap pembelajaran dengan pendekatan scientific adalah hampir seluruh siswa memberikan respon positif. Kata Kunci : Pendekatan scientific, kemampuan koneksi matematis This study are aimed at analyzing that is the student’s mathematical connection ability rising or not after they have been gotten the scientific approach in their learning process, finding the raise of quality of the student mathematical connection ability before and after the process of learning based on the scientific approach, finding the influence of learning process based on scientific approach towards the student’s mathematical connection ability, and moreover this study is focused on finding the student’s attitude towards the learning process based on scientific approach.The study used a Pre-Experimental Design method which has designed by One Group Pre-test Post-test. The population of this study was all of students class X in one of a public senior high school in Bandung, and the sample of this study is taken from one of class X in that public senior high school. The findings reveal that the student’s mathematical connection ability was rising after they have been gotten the scientific approach in their learning process than before, the raise of the student’s ability before and after they have been gotten the scientific approach in their learning process was including in medium category, besides, there was a high influence of learning process based on scientific approach toward the student’s mathematical connection ability, and most of student’s attitude toward the learning process based on scientific approach is positive.
