Civil engineering (General)</subject><subject>TJ Mechanical engineering and machinery</subject><description>Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi metode pembelajaran keterampilanpada pembelajaran keterampilan las untuk siswa Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP). Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian Pre Eksperimen (Pre-Experimental) dengan desain penelitian One Shot Case Study. Desain penelitian One Shot Case Study dilakukan treatment pada subjek penelitian setalah itu dilakukan test yang berguna untuk mengetahui hasil dari treatment.Subjek penelitian ini terdiri dari 6 orang yang terdiri dari 2 orang yang membuat rak bunga dan 4 orang yang membuat rak sepatu. Pengambilan subjek penelitian berdasarkan peringkat di kelas, 2 orang dengan peringkat tinggi, 2 orang dengan peringkat sedang dan 2 orang dengan peringkat bawah. Analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis mean(x ̅) dan standar deviasi (SD). Hasil dari penelitian ini (1) Implementasi pembelajaran keterampilan las di Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP) menggunakan metode demonstrasi menghasilkan siswa yang sebelumnya tidak bisa menjadi bisa; (2) Waktu ketercapaian siswa sesuai dengan standar waktu peneliti; (3) Hasil dari keterampilan las menghasilkan 2 siswa bisa dan 4 siswa tidak bisa. 

Kata Kunci: Keterampilan Las, Metode Demonstrasi.

The purpose of this study was to describe the implementation of learning methods keterampilanpada learning welding skills for students of Junior High School (SMP). The method used in this study is a research method Pre Experiment (Pre-Experimental) with study design Case Study One Shot. Design One Shot Case Study research conducted on the subject of study treatment was performed After a useful test to determine the results of this study treatment.Subjek consisted of 6 people consisting of 2 people who create flower racks and 4 people who make a shoe rack. Intake of research subjects by rank in class, 2 people with high ratings, 2 people with moderate rank and 2 with lower ratings. Analysis of the data used in this study is the analysis of the mean (x ̅) and standard deviation (SD). The results of this study (1) Implementation of learning welding skills in Junior High School (SMP) using the method of demonstration resulted in students who previously could not be able to; (2) Time achievement of students in accordance with the standards of the time researchers; (3) Results of welding skills could produce 2 students and 4 students could not.
