- The purpose of this research is to test the effectivity of group counseling through modelling technic to increase the students self esteem of 10th grade students at 3 Vocational High School Cimahi in 2013/2014 Academic Year. The research was performed using quasi experimental method. Research design which was used is nonequievalent pretest-posttest control group design. Pretest result generally showed self esteem of the students are in high category. Intervension design arranged according to the necessity analysis. Final result (posttest) showed that group counseling through modelling technic is effective to increase the student's self esteem
