- Research on the relationship between density and percentage of seagrass cover with bivalve density in Karas Island Waters. The purpose of this research way to determine the relationship between density and seagrass percentage cover with bivalve solidity in Karas Island Waters. This study used a random method of 30 points using a 1x1 meter plot for seagrass and bivalve observations. The results found 7 types of seagrass, namely, Halodule pinifolia, Halodule universe, Halophila ovalis, Syringodium iseotifolium, Cymodoceae rotundata, Enhalus acroides, and Thalasia hemprichii with density value of 328.96 stands/m2. The results found 9 types of Bivalvia, namely, Calista impar, Circe scripta, Circe tumefacta, Gafarium pectinatum, Pitar citrinus, Trachycardium flavum, Stavelia subdistora, Modiolus metcalfa, and Isogonomon ephippilum, with 11.26 idn/m2. The relationship between density and percentage of seagrass cover with bivalve density way relatively weak with a correlation coefficient of 0,241.
