  • This study aimed to describe the readiness of oil palm farmers replanting the people in the face of capital in terms of preparedness and readiness of the waiting period.The results showed that in general (70.83%) of farmers having land area of oil palm plantations has entered old age of about 1 to 2 hectares with proof of ownership in general certificate (93.33%) and SKT of the district head / headman (5, 83%), as well as other evidence (0.83%). In general, the age of farmers is not a young age again. The majority (69.17%) their age is above 41 years by level of education in general SMP down.Structure activity that most of the family members (72.00%) were of school age and only just as much as 28.00% of the working members. Conditions add to the burden of farmers in the decision to perform rejuvenation garden that has entered old age. So far, farmers are generally incorporated into farmer groups as well as members of the cooperative. The dilemma faced by farmers is during the waiting period, the practical farmers do not earn revenue from land rejuvenated. But farmers have to continue to spend to meet their daily needs. On the other hand, not all farmers have other sources of income sufficient to be able to maintain their consumption patterns. This condition must be a problem for farmers facing a waiting period.
