  • This paper was discussed the current possibility technology canbe used to design a high performance steam propulsion system foran LNG carrier. The propose system was designed based on theavailable technology for marine industry. The technicalperformance analysis was carried out to evaluate theimprovement of the system. Economic performance for thissystem was also discussed in paper. The sensitivity analysis usedfor the economic performance analysis was made by varying therelative system initial cost and fuel price to cover several possibleeconomic conditions to operate LNG Carrier.
