- The research of the toxicity of detergent on Barramundi (Lates calcalifer, Bloch) has been done in atLaboratory Loka Budidaya Laut Batam on Maret 2005. The aim of this research was to test the toxicity ofdetergent on Barramundi based on the result from LC50 and to take the point of safety concentration onBarramundi life. The pre test was get the result from upper treshold (N) = 8 3 ppm and lower treshold (n) = 81ppm. Persistant test showed the result that media test must be changed abaut 6 hours at toxicity test. Theresult of LC50 24, 48, 72 and 96 hours about 121,35 ppm; 100, 35 ppm; 91,95 ppm; 84,35 ppm. The safetyconcentration from detergent was about 8,435 ppm.
