- Lawyer or legal aid denotes a profession that regulated by state has been known, for instance by Roman society. In Islam, according to the writer of article below in quranic verses indicate that legal aid consitutes something important. Instead, it was conducted at the time of Mohammad. Unfortunately, the earlier moslems regarded this profession was not so significant. But, according to moslem yurists that lawyer or legal aid profession be apart of wakalah system. For example, era of Ottoman Empire has regulated wakala ad-da’wa that adopted from many sources of fiqh. This act was referred by modern moslem countries. For that reason, moslem countries need a systemic and comprehensive regulation to keep legal aid or lawyer profession as honoured profession of society.
