- This research attempts to analyze the fishery potention resulted by Bantul’s Fisherman, their revenue, and also to analyze Bantul Government’s policy to increase the fisheries production. The result of this research shows that the fishing potention in Bantul sea are underfishing with the 56,76% from MSY, and maximum potention as much 232.669,87 kg/year with catching of 10.634 trip/year. The production of fishery which is resulted by Fiherman are lowest than the the potention, wich only 3.400 ton/year. The government policy to increase the nelayan revenue by forming the economic institutions, such as economic enterprise, fish market, etc.Keywords: Fisherman, Policy, Fishing Potention, Fishing Production, Fisherman empowering.
