- Antibiotics are a class of hard drugs that should only be obtained by a doctor's prescription and obtained at a pharmacy. One of the causes of resistance is that patients lack information on the use of antibiotics, thus causing inappropriate consumption. The purpose of the study was to determine the relationship between the level of knowledge of patients with antibiotic use without a prescription at Kimia Farma Pharmacy GKB. The study population was all patients who bought antibiotics without a doctor's prescription at Kimia Farma Pharmacy GKB, with a sample size of 30. The sampling technique was Accidental sampling. This data collection uses questionnaire method with guttman measurement scale technique. The analysis method is to use frequency distribution table and cross table. The results of the study were the level of knowledge of patients with the largest antibiotics in the category of as much as 47%. the highest level of antibiotic use without a prescription with enough categories as much as 37%, from 7 in patients with good knowledge of most or 71.4% of good use. And of the 14 patients who had enough knowledge, 50% used less
