- Family support is one of the factors influencing adherence to the treatment of pulmonary tuberculosis, in which the nuclear family and extended family function as a support system for family members so as to reduce depression rates in pulmonary tuberculosis patients. The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship of family support with depression level of pulmonary tuberculosis patients at Puskesmas Taman Kecamatan Taman Kabupaten Sidoarjo. This type of observational analytic research is cross sectional approach. Population 34 lung TB sufferer and sample 31 lung tuberculosis patient with simple random sampling sampling technique. Independent variable of family support and dependent variable of depression level. Rank Spearman correlation statistic test ρ <α = 0.05. The result of the research of family support of lung tuberculosis patient at Puskesmas Taman District Taman Sidoarjo District mostly 17 (54,8%) and depression level mostly 26 (83,9%). Based on statistical test of Rank Spearman correlation show value p < α (0,002 <0,05). There is a relationship of family support to the depression level of pulmonary tuberculosis patients in Puskesman Taman Kecamatan Taman Kabupaten Sidoarjo.
