  • In inventory management demand uncertainty is a real phenomenon. This of course can cause the company difficulties to do the optimal inventory planning, because if the ordering of raw materials too little then feared the occurrence of shortages whereas if the order is too much it will be a lot of capital costs are unemployed. PT Cemindo Gemilang Gresik is a company engaged in the production of cement, while in inventory planning that currently occurs many encountered excess raw materials even beyond the existing warehouse capacity resulting in high capital costs are unemployed. Therefore, it is needed a careful inventory planning so that it can generate optimal order quantity for each raw material.The Fuzzy EOQ model is more flexible than the regular inventory model, because the EOQ stochastic model can not handle extreme inventory availability with high service levels so the cost of deficiency becomes high in contrast to the Fuzzy model with no cost deficiencies. Based on the calculation, economic order size for each clinker raw material is 5,849.31 ton, limestone raw material 4,250,27 ton, Trass 3,354,64 ton raw material and Gypsum raw material 12,895,05 ton. By reorder point (ROP) clinker at inventory position 14,699.3 ton, limestone at stock position 1,318,66 ton, trass at 812,28 ton and gypsum at inventory 1,378,5 ton. With the average savings that can be generated if using fuzzy EOQ is Rp. 194.353.300,33.
